Heiner G. Entered the House is a video that explores interior spaces through a lens inspired by the theater of Heiner Goebbels and the cinema of Antonioni, particularly Zabriskie Point. The title, borrowed from the play I went to the house but did not enter, evokes hesitation and introspection in relation to the domestic space.
In this work, the house becomes a frozen stage where characters, oscillating between entering and withdrawing, navigate delicate interactions and moments of suspension. The camera follows them, capturing subtle gestures and eloquent silences, revealing a choreography of shadows that questions the nature of intimacy and isolation. Through this exploration, Heiner G. interrogates the perception of the self within an environment that is both familiar and strange, where time seems to stretch and the unspoken resonates like echoes in the void.
